Cutting out the rear wing rust

The bubbling paint was hiding worse underneath. Cut back to clean metal, patched properly — no filler over rust here.

Rust never sleeps, and on a TR6 the rear wings are one of its favourite bedrooms. A couple of innocent-looking bubbles turned out to be lace-work steel once the paint came off.

The only honest repair is to cut back to bright, clean metal and weld in new steel. Drag the slider to compare:
