Privacy policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Restomod Life helps you find vehicle resources and keep your parts, pictures, videos and notes together. This policy explains how we handle information when you use restomod.life. Contact Restomod Life at Admin@restomod.life with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your email address, account identifier and sign-in provider. If you choose Google or Facebook, the provider may also supply your name and profile picture as part of its basic profile information. Your provider password is never sent to Restomod Life.
  • Your garage: build names, selected vehicles, saved links, parts, pictures you upload, car images, receipt images and details, notes and sharing settings. Signing in saves this information to your account so you can use it on other devices.
  • Requests you send: information you provide when you contact us, request a vehicle or ask us to email a build sheet.
  • Technical information: our hosting and authentication services process information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times and errors to deliver the site, maintain security and investigate problems.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, save and synchronise your garage, publish builds you choose to share, send requested service emails, answer requests and protect the service against misuse. Signing in does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell your personal information.

Google and Facebook sign-in are used for identity and account access. We do not request access to your contacts, private messages or social feeds, or permission to post on your behalf. Private saved garages are not sent to our public-content indexing services for AI analysis.

If you choose Scan with AI, we send a copy of that receipt image to our configured AI provider, Anthropic or OpenAI, to extract details for you to review. If you choose Create with AI for your car, we send your car description to OpenAI to generate a concept image. These optional actions do not send your entire garage to either provider. You can upload car photos and enter receipt details without using AI.

Private builds and public sharing

Your account garage is private by default. Choosing to publish a build creates a separate public copy containing the information you choose to share, including any owner name, story, notes, links and pictures included in that copy. Other people and search engines may see and copy it. Avoid including addresses, registration documents or other information you do not want made public.

Editing or removing a private build does not automatically remove a previously published copy. Use that build’s Sharing controls to update or unpublish it, or contact us with its public link.

Receipts and their original images are private and are excluded from public build links. Your own downloaded build PDF can contain your receipts, so check it before sharing the file.

Cookies and information on your device

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security. Your browser also stores garage data and preferences locally, including guest builds and recovery copies of signed-in builds. Signing out closes your session and clears the active garage view, but recovery copies can remain on that device. On a shared device, clear this site’s browser data after signing out. Export anything you want to keep first.

Blocking cookies or clearing site data may sign you out and remove builds that were saved only on that device.

Service providers and external content

We use Vercel for website hosting and Supabase for authentication, database storage and private receipt file storage. Anthropic and OpenAI process the receipt images or car descriptions you choose to submit to the optional AI features. Email delivery providers process the addresses and message content needed to send emails you request. These providers process information to deliver their services, and information may be processed outside your country.

Sign-in providers handle your login under their own privacy policies. When you load external images or open embedded YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or Facebook content, those services may receive your IP address, browser information and cookies they already hold. External stores and websites have their own privacy practices. Restomod Life does not control their tracking or availability.

Our public resource catalogue also contains information from public websites and accounts, such as creator names, handles, thumbnails, captions and indexed video topics. We use services including Apify, Supadata, Anthropic and OpenAI to discover and process public content. This is separate from your private garage. Contact us with the relevant link if a public listing contains personal information you want corrected or removed. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts.

Storage and retention

Account garages are encrypted in database storage and access through the website is tied to your signed-in account. We keep account and build information while needed to provide your saved garage, unless you request its deletion. Public copies remain available until unpublished or removed. Security logs, backups and correspondence may remain for the period needed for security, recovery, resolving disputes or legal obligations; deleting live data does not immediately erase all provider backups.

Original receipt images are stored in a private file bucket and require your account to open. Emptying a build removes its entries but keeps original receipt files in your account for reference. Contact us to remove retained originals or other account data. Generated image results and receipt scan results may be retained privately to recover interrupted requests without charging for the same request again.

Your choices and rights

You can browse without signing in, edit your saved builds, download a build PDF and control whether to publish a build. You can ask for access to, a copy of, correction of or deletion of your personal information by contacting Admin@restomod.life. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Rights, response deadlines and any permitted exceptions depend on applicable law.

See account and data deletion for the steps, including removing Google or Facebook access. Removing access at a sign-in provider alone does not delete data already saved with us.

Children

This service is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
